One Day Pool Operator Course. This course is approved by the STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA. In North Carolina swimming pools must be inspected daily by a person who is trained as a pool operator. Facilities may need more than one person trained to meet this North Carolina State requirement. Two Day Pool Operator Course. The National Swimming Pool Foundation has been created due to the need for safety and proper operation and maintenance of swimming pools. This two day course is the Certified Pool Operator course, which more training than any other program in the pool and spa industry. It has become the national standard in pool operator training.
