IFPO

The International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO) was established in 1988 to provide educational opportunities for the security officer, supervisor or manager. In doing this the IFPO created/developed two distance delivery styled programs, the Certified Protection Officer (CPO) program and the Certified in Security Supervision an Management (CSSM) program. Both accreditations are industry recognized with many organizations making them a prerequisite to employment or promotion. In addition to the CPO and CSS programs, the Foundation also offers non-voting associate membership. Membership benefits are extensive.
