Cambodian TEACHERS OF ENGLISH TO SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES (CamTESOL). Welcome to the home page of CamTESOL. CamTESOL was established in February 2004 as a mechanism to organise an annual conference on English Language Teaching (ELT) in Cambodia. The first national workshop is being held on 4 September 2004 and the first conference on 12 March 2005. IDP Education Australia is sponsoring this conference series, but actively pursues community participation through invitation to join the steering, organizing, program and other committees. The conference is primarily for classroom teachers of English, but also for teacher trainees, university and language school administrators, educators with an interest in international education, donors and other stakeholder groups such as foreign experts and consultants, Ministry of Education representatives, book publishers and bookshop representatives etc. CamTESOL is a forum for the exchange of ideas and is designed to strengthen the network of ELT practitioners and to showcase research in the field.
